Seventy-year-old pop diva Tina Turner is considering returning to the stage for a world tour, but for now she's pretty happy with her relaxed life.

In an interview with Reuters, she said “People want to see me, so many people were holding signs up saying 'Thank You”,” referring to her last tour in 2008 which grossed over US$47.7 million.

The singer said she has not decided on her return to the stage but has not put the idea completely out of her mind. “I'm not saying that I won't do it. I just have not decided yet.”

Fans would probably have to settle for a new album instead because Turner said recording an album is so much more easier than going on a world tour. But she admits that she is not in a hurry to return to the studio as she's currently enjoying her quiet life. “I have dinner parties. I can go to parties. There's more freedom when you're not working.”
